Tags Test Case

Main steps

• Goto Mail application
• Add an account and do check mail

Add tag for message

• Right click at message and select Tag option in menu
• Add tag pop up appears
• Input value to Tag name field and select color for tag in drop down list
• Input value to Description if you want to* click Add button
  

Result:

• Selected message is added tag and icon tag is shown beside subject of message
• Tag name is displayed in Tag space after adding.
• Message is shown when click on tag name in tag space

Remove tag in message

• Right click at message which added tag and select Tag option in menu
• In Add tag form: Tick at tag name which you want to remove
• And then click Remove button

Selected tag is removed in message. This message isn't displayed when click on Tag name

Edit Tag

• Right click at Tag name in tag space and select Edit option in menu
• Change value in some fields and click Save button

Selected tag is edited. Edited tag is updated new.

Empty tag

• Right click at a tag name in tag space and select Empty in menu
• Confirm message appears and then, click OK button

Selected tag is removed. This tag isn't displayed in tag space and in message

Other Check

Add Tag for message

• Case 1: Check Add Tag for message in case creating new tag for message
  • Input:
    • Tick on specific messages
    • Right click on specific message and select Tag message/ Click on more Actions icon and select Tag message
    • Input valid Tag Name
    • Press Add button
  • Output:
    • Message is tagged with new Tag name
    • Click on Tag name, tagged message is shown
• Case 2: Check Add Tag for message in case updating existed tag for message
  • Input:
    • Tick on specific messages
    • Right click on specific message and select Tag message/ Click on more Actions icon and select Tag message * * Select an existed tag from Tag List for message
    • Press Add button
  • Output:
    • Message is tagged with existed Tag name
    • Click on Existed Tag name, tagged message is shown properly
• Case 3: Check Add Tag for message by drag and drop method
  • Input:
    • Drag and drop specific message to specific tag
  • Output:
    • Message is tagged with existed Tag name
    • Click on Existed Tag name, tagged message is shown properly

Remove Tag

• Case 1:
  • Input:
    • Right click on specific tag and select Remove option
  • Output:
    • Confirmation message is shown: ?Are you sure you want to remove this tag? With 2 option ?Ok? for removing and ?Cancel? for canceling removing action

Edit tag

• Case 1: Check Edit tag function in case Tag Name is blank
  • Input:
    • Leave Tag Name blank
    • Press Save button
  • Output:
    • Alert message is shown: ?Please fill the tag name!?
• Case 2: Check Edit tag function in case valid data entry
  • Input:
    • Input valid data for Edit tag form
    • Press Save button
  • Output:
    • Tag is updated successfully with new Tag name, tag color.

Empty tag

• Case 1:
  • Input:
    • Right click on specific tag and select Empty option
  • Output:
    • Confirmation message is shown: ?Are you sure you want to empty this tag? With 2 option ?Ok? for emptying and ?Cancel? for canceling emptying action
    • ?There are no messages? is shown when viewing empty tag
