Content Browser Test Case
Steps in Content Browser
Required Test Cases (in order)
Main steps
- Goto ECM -> Content Browser
- A popup form is displayed
Create new config function
- Switch in Edit mode at right form
- Config form appears and click New Config button
- Create New form showed
- Select Repository is repository in list box
- Select Workspace is listbox (In this case, use workspace is production)
- Selec Type of Browse Content (In this case, select type is From Path)
- Click Next button and Path Config form is displayed
- In form:
- Select another repository and workspace in list box for new config if you want
- Click Add Path icon beside Categories Path text box to browse path for new config
- Select Template is Path List in list box
- Tick some checkbox in form which need for new config
- Input number in Item per page field
- Select Detail Box Template is Document View in listbox
- Click Save button and A config is created new
- Switch in View mode to View all documents which available in that config
Edit config funcion
- Swith in Edit mode at right form
- Config form appears and click Edit button
Other checks
- Case 1: Test search when 'Search keywords' field is blank
- In put:
- Click on 'Search' icon
- Do not input value in Search box
- Click "Search" button
- In put:
- Case 2: Test view content of document in CB when add category for this document
- Input
- Create a document
- Add category for this doc
- Go to Content Browser
- Select Edit mode
- Workspace: System
- Select category path
- Click Save button
- Switch to View mode
- Open this document
- Output: Content of this document is displayed
- Input
- Case 3: Test view document in TreeList
- Input:
- Has node tree
- folder1
- doc1
- doc2
- folder2
- doc3
- folder1
- Go to Browse Content: view in TreeList
- Select folder2 to view all docs of this folder
- Has node tree
- Output: Docs of folder2 are listed

- Case 4: Test config CB by using script
- Input
- ECMadmin->Manage script
- Add new BC script named Test with Content value likes: tét
- Content Browse portlet:
- Select Edit in portlet mode
- Click button New config
- Select Using a JCR script-> Next-> Script name: Test
- Click button Save
- Output: Content Browser is configed

- Case 5: Test config CB by using query
- Input
- Ecmadmin->Manage query
- Add new query:
- Name: Test2
- Statement: /jcr:root/cms/publications//element( * , exo:abc)
- Save
- Content Browse portlet:
- Select Edit in portlet mode
- Click button New config
- Query Status: Existing query
- Query Language: xpath
- Query Type: Shared query
- Query Name: Test2
- Save
- Output: Content Browser is configed
