Fast Content Creator Test Case

Steps to create a document by Fast Content Creator

Required Test Cases (in order)

• Sign In

Main steps

• Goto ECM -> Fast Content Creator

Create a new configuration

• Click on 'Portlet Mode' icon
• Select 'Edit' mode
• Select repository and workspace
• Click icon 'SelectPath' -> 'Select location' pop-up appears
• Click on icon to select node that you want to create a new document
• Select template of document you want to create
• Click Save button

Create a new document

• Click on 'Portlet Mode' icon
• Select 'View' mode
• Fill value in required fields of this document template as you do in File Explorer

Other checks

• Case 1:
  • Input:
    • Go to File Explorer --> create node named ABC
    • Go to Fast Content Creator --> change: Select repository: Repository
    • Select workspace: Production
    • Location to save: /ABC
    • Select template: Article
    • Save -> View->OK
    • Go to File Explorer again
    • Delete node ABC
    • Go to Fast Content Creator
      • Fill value to add new document
      • Click Save
  • Output: Show message: "Path '/ABC' was deleted or is invalid path."
• Case 2:
  • Input
    • Create node ABC in File Explorer
    • Lock node ABC
    • Goto Fast Content Creator
    • Click Edit in portlet mode
      • select Location to save: node ABC
      • Save
    • Fill values in new document
    • Save
  • Output: Show message : Node '/ABC' is locked. Unlock this node before create documents
• Case 3:
  • Input:
    • Create a new repository in ECMAdmin
    • Go to Fast Content Creator
    • Select 'Edit' mode
  • Output: A new repository is displayed in 'Select repository' list
• Case 4:
  • Input:
    • Goto File Explorer
    • At root: add nt:folder: AAA
    • Add 1 node BBB is sub node of AAA
    • Go to Fast Content Creator
    • Click Edit on Portlet mode:
      • Select repository: repository
      • Select workspace: Admin on production
      • Location to save: /AAA
    • Save and View
    • Add 1 document same name: BBB
    • Click Save
• Output: Show message "This node already exists in '/bbb' and same name sibling is not allowed"
• Case 5:
  • Input:
    • Create a user: Test
    • Create a node: AAA
    • Set permission for node AAA: user Test only has read permission
    • Login by user Test
    • Go to Fast Content Creator
    • Create new document like sub node of node AAA
  • Output: Show message: Access denied! You haven't got add permission at '/aaa'
• Case 6:
  • Input:

• Add new repository: test_repo (has some workspaces)
• Do not add any drive for test_repo
• Go to Fast Content Creator
• Select 'Edit' from portlet mode
• Select new repo: test_repo
• Select 1 workspace
• Click Save
• Add new document-> Click Save

Note: You'll see this document if you create a drive in workspace that you choose to create document. Select this drive in File EXplorer and you'll see the document has been created.
