1: 2: <h1>Create a New Portal</h1> 3: 4: Creating a new portal requires you to have a special permission that only an administrator can give you. You need follow these guides to create a new portal. 5: 6: 1\. Go to *eXo Admin* --> *Administration* --> *Advanced* --> *Manage Portals* 7: 8: 2. Click the *Create New Portal* button. By default, the *Create New Portal* form is shown with the *Portal Template* tab 9: 10: <center>{image:PortalTemplate.png}</center> 11: 12: 13: 14: 15: 3. Select the *Portal Setting* tab. 16: 17: <center>{image:PortalSetting.png}</center> 18: 19: 4. Enter a value for the *Portal Name* field. This field is required and must be unique. Only alpha, digit and underscore characters are allowed for this field and it must have at least 3 characters. 20: 21: 5. Select a display language for the portal by selecting a language from the list 22: 23: 6. Select a skin for a portal by selecting one from the skin list. 24: 25: 7. Click on the *Permission Setting* tab and set the permissions for the portal. 26: 27: - By default the access permissions list for the portal is empty. You have to select at least one or tick on the *Make it public* check box to assign access permission to everyone. 28: - Edit permission is empty and you have to select one. 29: 30: 8.
