Manage Portals

You can easily manage a portal by editing or deleting it.

1 Edit a Portal

You can change information of the current using portal such as properties or layout. However, you must have edit right given by an Admininstrator.
When you have edit right, follow these steps to edit the current portal:

1. Go to eXo Start --> Administration --> Advanced --> Edit Current Portal. A form to edit the current portal will appear :

Indicator	Meaning
	Preview page: allows viewing node's page in preview mode
	Edit page properties: allows editing node's page properties
	Show container: allows listing all existing containers when editing node's page
	Show portlet: allows listing all existing portlets when editing node's page
	Save page: allows saving changes of page when editing node's page
	Rollback: allows canceling all changes that have not been saved
	Abort: allows canceling all changes that have not been saved and escaping Edit page and navigation form
	Finish: allows saving all changes and escaping the Edit page and the navigation form.

2. Click icon to edit portal properties

3. Click icon to edit portal container layout

4. Click icon to edit portal portlet layout

5. Click icon to save changes

2 Delete a Portal

You can easily delete a portal by following these guides:

1. Go to eXo Start --> Administration --> Advanced --> Manage Portals

2. Click the trash can icon in the row of the portal you want to delete in the portal list.

3. Click the OK button in the confirmation message to accept deleting.
